The Buyer Visibility Audit™ request form asks for your first name, last name, business email, company name, and company website. The contact form asks for your name, company name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. If you book a discovery meeting through our scheduling link, the scheduler collects your name, email, and the time you chose. We use this information to do the thing you asked for: prepare and email your audit, answer your message, or hold the meeting. We also keep it in our customer relationship management system so we have a record of our conversation with you. We may follow up by email or phone about your request. We do not add you to a newsletter or automated email sequence because you submitted a form. ## Information Collected Automatically Like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar technologies that collect some information automatically when you visit. We use four tools for this. Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us how the site is used: which pages people visit, how long they stay, roughly where they are located (city or region level), what kind of device and browser they’re using, and how they arrived at the site. Google Analytics does not give us your name or email address. HubSpot tracking code sets a cookie that recognizes your browser on return visits and, if you later submit a form, connects your earlier visits to your contact record. This is how we know, for example, that someone who requested an audit had read the Investment page first. Thomas WebTrax is a visitor-identification tool built for industrial companies. It records which pages are viewed, when, and how the visitor arrived, along with the visitor’s IP address. It then matches that IP address against a database of business networks to tell us which company the visit most likely came from. A visit from an office network may show us the company’s name, industry, and location. A visit from a home or mobile connection usually shows us nothing more than a general area. WebTrax works at the company level. It does not give us your name or your email address. We use it to understand which kinds of companies are reading the site and what they are interested in, and we may contact a company that has visited. WebTrax is provided by Thomas, a Xometry company, and [Thomas’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab)](https://www.thomasnet.com/privacy) describes how it handles this data. The site also records standard server information, such as your IP address, the pages requested, and the time of the request, which is used for security and to keep the site running. ## Cookies A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site uses cookies for the analytics and tracking described above, HubSpot’s forms and meeting scheduler use cookies to work properly, and WebTrax may use a cookie or a similar identifier to recognize a return visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on linked above. The site will still work either way, though some analytics won’t record your visit. ## Third-Party Services on This Site We use a small number of outside services to run the site, and each one may receive some of your information in the course of doing its job. HubSpot (website hosting, forms, meeting scheduling, contact records, email, visitor tracking, and the videos on this site, which play from HubSpot’s servers). Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, and the embedded map on the Contact page, which loads from Google Maps and is subject to Google’s privacy policy). Thomas (the WebTrax visitor-identification tool described above). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing. Each service above handles the information it receives under its own privacy policy. ## How Long We Keep It Form submissions and contact records stay in our CRM for as long as we have a business reason to keep them, which usually means as long as you might be a client or prospect, plus a reasonable period after. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, which is the default we’ve set. Company visit records stay in our WebTrax account for as long as that account keeps them. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we’re required to keep it for a legal or accounting reason. ## Your Choices You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can block cookies in your browser, and your browser’s privacy settings or a tracker-blocking extension will stop the analytics and visitor-identification tools from loading. You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom of it, or by replying and asking. If you are a resident of a state with a consumer privacy law, such as California or Minnesota, you may have additional rights under that law, including the right to know what information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale. We don’t sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that count, but the other rights apply and the email above is how to exercise them. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. ## Children This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we’ll delete it. ## Security The site is served over HTTPS, and the services we use to store your information maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us. ## Changes to This Policy If we change how we collect or use information, we’ll update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll say so here.
